Royal Crown Derby Imari Mandarin Duck Porcelain Paperweight 1991 - Royal Crown Derby fine bone china paperweight in the form of a Mandarin Duck, decorated in the traditional Imari palette. The figurine features underglaze and overglaze decoration in iron red and cobalt blue with intricate hand-painted gold detailing throughout. The head is finished with a dark burgundy-brown crown and beak, accented by golden scrollwork and dotting. The underside is fitted with a gold-toned metal stopper embossed with the Royal Crown Derby crown and crossed scepter emblem and the text MADE IN ENGLAND and ROYAL CROWN DERBY. Additional base markings include an orange-red printed circular backstamp reading © ROYAL CROWN DERBY, a hand-painted LIV date code in purple-grey indicating a production year of 1991, and hand-painted MM decorator initials in red.
