A Collection of Vintage Metalware Including a Figural Cast Iron Nutcracker and Copper Measures - A collection of vintage kitchen metalware featuring a figural cast iron nutcracker and two sets of graduated copper and brass measures. The lever-action nutcracker is cast in the form of a dog, likely a spaniel or retriever breed, where the mouth acts as the crushing mechanism and the tail serves as the handle. The piece is mounted to an integral oval plinth base. The first set of measures includes four upright, cylindrical vessels with copper bodies and cast brass handles in varying shapes. These vessels feature a tin-lined interior. The second set is a nested group of five shallow circular measuring cups. These are constructed with copper bodies and long, flat brass handles with integrated hanging holes. All handles are secured with rivets. No manufacturer marks are visible on the items.
