Vintage British Elizabeth II Cast Iron Lamp Post Box - An authentic mid-20th century British Royal Mail lamp post box, manufactured from heavy cast iron. This wall or post-mounted unit features the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II, consisting of the letters E and R flanking a cast St. Edward's Crown. The right-side panel is cast with the vertical text POST OFFICE. The collection door includes an original metal plate with the incised text NEXT COLLECTION above the card slot. The unit is characterized by a rounded top and a hinged front door. While a manufacturer mark is present on the lower-left corner of the door, it is currently obscured by multiple layers of paint and weathering. Dimensions: Approximately 24 inches in height.
