Wade England Andy Capp Ceramic Money Box 1998 - A glazed ceramic money box manufactured by Wade in England, depicting the British comic strip character Andy Capp. The figurine is modeled in a standing pose wearing a black suit, a green necktie, and his signature green flat cap pulled down over his eyes. The character is positioned beside a brown suitcase on a circular white integral base. The underside of the base features printed black marks including the name ANDY CAPP, the copyright notice 1998 Mirror Group Newspapers Ltd, and the maker attribution Andy Capp WADE England. A small hand-painted green decorator mark is located near the central circular aperture. A remnant of a white paper sticker with a handwritten number in blue ink is also adhered to the base.
