Royal Doulton Bone China Figural Cherub Hand Bell 1980 - A Royal Doulton white bone china hand bell featuring a figural handle. The handle is a fully gilded figurine of a cherub or putto depicted playing a lyre. The bell body is decorated with a thin gold band at the shoulder and a wider gold band at the base. It is equipped with an internal metal clapper consisting of a linked chain and a spherical gilded ball. The interior base of the bell bears a gold transfer mark. The mark consists of a crown symbol above a circular crest containing the words MADE IN ENGLAND, ROYAL DOULTON, ENGLAND, and BONE CHINA surrounding a central motif of four interlocking D characters. Below this mark are the characters © ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LTD 1980.
