A Collection of Talbot Spinning and Weaving Company Industrial Plaques and Photographs - This collection of industrial artifacts pertains to the Talbot Spinning and Weaving Company, Limited, which operated in Chorley, Lancashire, England. The lot comprises two metal business signs and three historical photographs. The first item is a rectangular plaque made of copper or a copper alloy, incised with the text TALBOT MILLS LIMITED. It includes four pre-drilled mounting holes, two of which retain rusted screws. The second plaque is constructed from brass and features incised, black-infilled text reading REGISTERED OFFICE. TALBOT SPINNING AND WEAVING COMPANY, LIMITED. The photographic portion of the collection includes a framed black and white gelatin silver print showing an interior mill floor with rows of machinery under a sawtooth roof.
