A Pair of Tuscan Plant Faience Art Deco Fruit Pattern Pottery Vases - A pair of English earthenware vases produced by R. H. and S. L. Plant Ltd. under the Tuscan Faience trade name. These vases feature an Art Deco fruit pattern consisting of hand-painted, stylized clusters of pomegranates, grapes, and green foliage in deep burgundy, forest green, and mustard yellow tones against a cream-colored ground. The vases are of ovoid form with a flared neck and a narrow, unglazed foot. Each base features a purple printed backstamp with a cursive Plant logo above the word TUSCAN and a winged crown symbol, with FAIENCE and MADE IN ENGLAND printed below. One vase also features an impressed capital letter R on the underside.
