A Set of Art Deco Orange and White Luster Porcelain Coffee Service Pieces and Tray - This Art Deco period coffee or chocolate service is crafted from porcelain with a two-tone glaze. The lower portions of the vessels and the centers of the saucers are finished in a bright orange glaze, while the upper sections and cup interiors feature a white iridescent mother-of-pearl luster. Contrasting black scroll handles are present on the pot, creamer, and cups. The collection includes one tall coffee pot with a fitted lid, one creamer, one open sugar bowl, six demitasse cups, and six saucers. The set is presented on a large circular tray with a matching orange center and a rim decorated with alternating vertical stripes of black and orange. The underside of the pieces is marked with a circular green backstamp reading FOREIGN and a stamped number 59. This mark was commonly used on porcelain imported into the British market from Central Europe and Japan during the 1920s and 1930s.
