Scarce Remington No. 1 Vest Pocket Pistol
Here We Have a Scarce Remington No. 1 Saw Handle Vest Pocket Pistol Chambered in .22 RF Short, With an Early Serial # 01047 These Were Manufactured From 1865-1888. Invented by William H. Elliot, only about 17,000 of these guns were made in total over the 23 years production run. This single shot pistol is very simple in mechanics. Place the hammer in the most rearward position and load a cartridge. The hammer also acts as the loading gate and breach block.
