We are offering a huge selection of antique prints and engravings from 17th-20th centuries.


Subjects included are natural history, architecture & designs, caricatures & humour, classical (including Egyptology), religious & historical, famous buildings and views, maps, sporting events, royal and historical portraits.


We particularly feature ornithological prints by John Gould, Jacques Barraband, Conrad Susemihl, Beverly Morris, FN Martinet, Cornelius Nozeman, Peter Mazell, William Swainson, Prideaux J Selby, William Lewin, Jean-Baptiste Audebert, Robert Gillmor and Edward Lear.


Other notable artists are JJ & JW Audubon, Rev. Houghton, Josiah Whymper, Archibald Thorburn, George Sowerby, John Frederick Miller, George Edwards, Moses Harris, Edward Donovan and HN Humphreys.

This original 200-year-old etching of the Church of Tamerville is from Architectural Antiquities of Normandy by John Sell Cotman. Published in London by J. & A. Arch in 1822.This soft-ground etching is on cream wove paper with wide margins.John Sell Cotman (1782-1842) was one of the most important artists from the golden age of English watercolour painting. Size: 19.5in x 28in (49.5cm x 71cm)
Condition: The print is in excellent condition but please inspect the image carefully for any occasional age related marks.
