Hand Painted Rococo Style Krater Pot in Porcelain
Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain krater shaped pot. The pot’s body sits on top of an ornate bronze base. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed handles depicting Pan. The dark blue color of the vase is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting a classic Rococo scene, this vase shows a family set against a natural backdrop, executed in shades of red, pink and blue. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain with bronze details. The vase measures 16 inches high by 10 inches wide and has never been used.
