Classical Hand Painted Porcelain Krater Pot
Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain krater shaped pot. The pot’s body sits on top of an ornate circular base. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed handles. The dark blue color of the vase is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting different classic Rococo scenes on each side, this vase shows two courtships set against a natural backdrop, executed in shades of red, pink and blue. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The pot measures 18 inches high by 12 inches wide and has never been used.
