Hand Painted Porcelain and Bronze Cherub Egg Jar
Up for auction is a stunning porcelain jar. The jar’s body sits on top of a highly detailed bronze base and is made even more special by the swan on the lid. The pastel blue color of the jar is soft and elegant, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting a classical Rococo scene, this vase shows cherubs in two different scenes, executed in shades of red, white, and blue. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain with bronze elements. The jar has never been used and measures 22 inches in height by 9 inches in width.
