Snake Handle Porcelain Jar
Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain vase. The vase’s body sits on top of a flared stem, and a circular base. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed snake handles. The peach color of the vase is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting a classical Rococo scene on each side, this vase shows two women in nature and a couple walking together, executed in pastel shades of blue, green, and pink. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The vase has never been used and measures 27 inches in height by 18 inches in width.
