WW1 Medal Trio & Death Plaque to P.G Tanswell who died during the 2nd Battle of Ypres. As he was with the 3rd Bn K.R.R.C-27th Div, he was most likely killed during The Battle of Frezenberg Ridge 08th May
1915-13 th May1915. There is no known grave for Pte Tanswell therefore his name is on the Menin Gate. Memorial Ypres Belgium. His brother was also killed which led to a typo of the correct initial on the
memorial. A very interesting group.
