Cased Silver German Marine Freikorps Medallion awarded to the ex WW1 Imperial German Naval Pilot and Air Ace Alexander Zenzes. Zenzes joined the Kampfgeschwader Sachsenberg, a Marine Freikorps Sqn which was formed by his friend and former Ace Gotthard Sachsenberg in 1919. Together with other pilots flew many ground support missions and maintained air superiority fighting the Russian communist forces on the Baltic borders of Germany
