This religious work, which symbolizes the image of the Virgin Mary and her young son Jesus, is one of the most acclaimed subjects in religious painting. This work is undoubtedly expressed through the use of secular figures, ranging from sacred idols to depictions of reality. This is also a typical expression style of the Renaissance.
The Madonna in the painting is breastfeeding her baby, something that would not appear in medieval religious Madonna paintings. The dark background is used to set off religious figures with holy light, making them full of holy images. The expression of the Virgin has the look of God looking into the distance, the corners of her mouth are raised, and her face is smiling, showing the kindness of the Virgin. The aperture behind the figure brings the figure closer and interconnected.
