A Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Geo VI second type, fixed suspender) and WW2 campaign group of six. The LSGC named to KX.86550 D C Tassell - POSM HMS Gambia; together with the 1939-45 Star, the Atlantic Star, the Africa Star ( with North Africa, 1942-3 clasp), the Pacific Star (with Burma clasp) and the 1939-45 war medal. Group mounted for display, together with some biographical details. Note: HMS Gambia, a Fiji-Class light cruiser, was present in Tokyo Harbour when the Japanese instrument of surrender was signed there aboard USS Missouri on 2nd September 1945.
