The Artisans of Ioannina have been famous since the Byzantine times exporting their work to all Europe and the Middle East!... AND....An antique, Greek Orthodox religious pendant depicting St George killing the dragon, worn by an Abbot. The pendant has an inner compartment, where according to tradition a small piece of the Holy Cross was kept to protect the whole monastery!
