A spectacular, large (62 carats) unusual petrified driftwood, often called PEANUT WOOD, oval cabochon. Itsappearance is due to boreholes infilled with white Radiolarian sediments in brown to black fossil wood. Thesefossils are only found in the Kennedy Ranges of western Australia and they are of Cretaceous age (145-66 millionyears old). Dimensions: 50 x 35 x 5 mm
