”Mother and Child” by Le Pho, 52x31 cm, Print on paper. Le Pho (1907–2001) was one of the most celebrated Vietnamese painters of the 20th century, a graduate of the first class of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de l'Indochine (1925–1930). Settling in Paris from 1937, he was part of the School of Paris and became famous for his lyrical depictions of Vietnamese women, mothers and children, and floral compositions in oil and on silk. His paintings regularly achieve top prices at international auctions. This item is held at Cadmore ASIAN Office in Vietnam and will be shipped from there.
