”Still Life” by Le Vuong, 68x79 cm, Oil on canvas. Le Vuong (1918–2021) was a renowned Vietnamese photographer and one of the first members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum staff, joining under painter and museum founder Nguyen Do Cung in the 1960s. A nephew of the celebrated painter Le Pho, he documented Vietnamese cultural heritage, ethnic minority life, and landscapes over more than 70 years of his career, producing more than 80,000 photographs that form a key visual archive of Vietnamese fine-art history.
