Fine Boggs Randolph Co. Ala 5gal Syrup Jug with a wide mouth and has the classic glaze from the Boggs family. The jug is a fresh example that shows outstanding with the double handles and a frog skin glaze that is just fluid with glassy feldspar alkaline glaze. The jug is scratched 5 in the top shoulder and is circa early 1890s. When one looks for top shelf condition well this is it. No chips, cracks or repairs. A must for the Alabama collector or the stoneware collector in general. Standing 19" Tall
