The Union Gazetteer for Great Britain and Ireland by Thomas Brown Volume One 1807, printed for Vernor, Hood and Sharpe, London; Guthrie and Tait, Edinburgh; Mitchell, Newcastle; Brown, Sanquhar and W M'Feat Glasgow 1807. A nicely bound hardback book in part leather marbled covers with raised bands and gilt lettering / date on spine, approx 14.5cm x 22cm. Shows light signs of age / wear, appears to have had first and last leaves professionally reinforced by paper in more recent times (see photographs) and is in good condition. nice book but just volume one of a two volume set so i think this will limit its value.
