RAF WAR ARTIST: Handwritten letter, 6x8 inches dated April 1947, written and signed by Alfred R Thomson, which is affixed to an A4, 8x2 inch sheet of paper with his principal achievements listed. VERY rare signature. Thomson was official artist to the RAF in WW2, taking over from Eric Kennington and he was also the very last person to win an Olympic Gold Medal for painting in 1948. VERY Rare!
