Captain Heinrich Schmetz (1914 2004) signed 6x4 black and white photo. Heinrich Schmetz (22 October 1914 22 July 2004) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. WW2 Luftwaffe fighter pilot. Set in corner mounts on blue card with typed biography information. Good condition. All autographs are genuine hand signed and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
