RAF Phantom Finale Gauntlet 11 print signed by artist Phillip West and RAF pilot Flt Lt W N Brown; 27 x 20 inches numbered 149/500. Stunning take off image with wheel retracting. Phantom XT597 was one of two pre-production model F-4K aircraft produced prior to the type's delivery into service. To commemorate the final flight of this magnificent aircraft the aviation artist Philip West was commissioned to paint this outstanding image of XT597, call sign, "Gauntlet 11", blasting away from Boscombe Down on its final sortie. Slight damage to top RH corner and couple dings to lower border, all could be trimmed or mounted out, priced accordingly. Good Condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
