Personally Signed by the Pilot Captain R L Wilkinson also Signed by General Adolf Galland Knights Cross with Diamonds 104 Victories and US fighter Ace (operating from carriers) Cdr Alexander Vraciu, Alex Vraciu ended WWII as the U. S. Navy's fourth-ranking ace with 19 enemy aircraft shot down plus 21 more destroyed on the ground. He spent the last few months of the war as a test pilot at the Navy's Patuxent River facility.
