Personally Signed by Gp Capt F. R. Carey 43 Sqn, Battle of Britain. Wg Cdr P. Ayerst DFC 7 OTU who achieved confirmed victories in the Battle of Britain and not eligible for the Battle of Britain Clasp. Flt Lt R. Wolton 153 Sqn Died 1993, Battle of Britain. Commander R C Hay DSO DSC* Joined the Royal Maries in 1935. He was with HMS Ark Royal for the Norwegian campaign and had taken part in the evacuation of Dunkirk with 801 Sqn.
