C40 Flown Red Arrows and Signed by 1975 Red Arrows team. 30 Oct 75 Jersey Red Arrows Special postmark on Red Arrows Gnat 25p Jersey stamp. 10 th Anniversary of the Red Arrows. The Aerobatic Team of the Royal Air Force. Cover depicts the 9 Red Arrows Gnat T1s and Joint Services badge. The Red Arrows took over from 111Sqn Black Arrows Hunters in 1965 as the Official Aerobatic Display Team. In 10 years the Red Arrows have given some 800 displays throughout Europe, N America and the Middle East. Flown in the Red Arrows Gnat T1s from Jersey Airport to RAF Kemble following Air Display. Personally Signed by the 9 Red Arrow display team Pilots, Sqn Ldr Duckett, Flt Lt Phillips, Flt Lt Donnelly, Flt Lt Eccles, Flt Lt Blackwell, Flt Lt, Sqn Ldr Hoskins, Flt Lt Cornwell and Flt Lt Barber. Red names cachet. Blue flight cachet on the reverse and 2 backstamps. Certified Cover number 184 of 3289 Signed by Flt Lt Adams RAF Museum. Good condition.
