Sinking of the Tirpitz Signed R Graydon Dambuster and C Lepine 617 Sqn Crew. 31 Aug 07 The Cenotaph The Sinking of the Tirpitz Group Captain James 'Willie' Tait DSO***DFC* ADC 1916 - 2007. Personally Signed by Flying Officer Raymond. E. Grayston. Sgt R Grayston took part in Operation Chastise as a flight Engineer on Les Knights Crew on Lancaster AJ-N which attacked the Eder Dam 16 to 17 May 1943 Dambuster and later on the Dortmund Ems Canal forced to bale out and became a POW and was sent to Stalag Luft 111. Also Signed by Flt Lt C A Lepine DFM ( Canadian ) Wireless Operator / Air Gunner With 150, 617 Sqns. On bombing raid at St Cyr. Completed two Tours of Operations before being shot down on a raid on Munich 24th April 1944. Taken Prisoner on the Rhine liberated by the Russians in May 1945. Theatres of operation European, African Aircraft flown Lancaster, Wellington. Details enclosed Certified Copy no 1 of 1. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
