WW2 Escaper Flt Lt Gordon Mellor 107 Sqn Wellingtons signed FF11 RAF cover. 23rd December 2006 BFPS 2940 1st Flight of the Sopwith Camel Special Signed by Flt Lt G Mellor. Trained as a Navigator in Canada where he flew Ansons and Fairey Battles. Flew Wellingtons No 27 OTU with 103 Sqn 1942. Shot down in Halifax close to Maastricht 5th Oct 1942.
