ULTRA RARE Albert Sammt Zeppelin Hindenburg Crash 1st officer 1937 signed cover. This is a highly unusual cover as it signed to one that was not stamped or postmarked. Might be unique, couple fox marks to LH side. Ive not seen this before in 25 years of dealing so its scarce. Captain Albert Sammt (1889-1982) was a renowned Zeppelin commander who served as first officer on the LZ 129 Hindenburg during its fatal 1937 flight. He survived the disaster and later commanded the LZ 130 Graf Zeppelin. He is honoured with a dedicated Albert-Sammt-Zeppelin-Museum in his hometown of Niederstetten, Germany. Good condition Est.
