Aviation Delta Wings test pilot A Ben Gunn signed on his own RAF cover TP22c. Alexander Ewen ”Ben” Gunn was a British test pilot known for his work with Boulton Paul Aircraft during the 1950s and 1960s, particularly on experimental aircraft like the P. 111 and P. 120 delta-wing aircraft. He was also known for surviving an ejection from the P. 120 after it encountered severe flutter. In 1942 he attended the RAF Staff College at Cranwell and then went to No. 501 Sqn flying Spitfires. From No. 501 Sqn Gunn went on to No. 274 Sqn flying Tempest Mk. V. Just before VE day 1945 he was posted as an instructor on Tempests with 56OTU. Good condition Est.
