Bletchley Park WW2 Lady Phillipa Scott signed 1988 Benham official Swans FDC BLCS80. Lady Philippa Scott (1918-2010) was a prominent British wildlife conservationist and professional photographer. As the widow of the renowned conservationist Sir Peter Scott, she co-founded what is now known as the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and served as its honorary director, heavily championing global wetland and bird preservation. Born Felicity Philippa Talbot-Ponsonby in South Africa, she served in the Land Army and did intelligence work at Bletchley Park during World War II before marrying Sir Peter Scott in 1951. Together, they travelled the world as pioneering leaders of the global conservation movement. Good condition. Part of Single Vendor collection.
