Sqn Ldr E Robinson OBE 200 Flights Berlin Airlift signed RAF cover 2004 COF45 End of the Berlin Airlift. Century of Flight official series cover, superb illustration, special postmark. He joined the RAF in 1941, spending much of the Second World War as a pilot instructor in Canada, along with some active service in Europe. Mr Robinson continued his RAF career after the war, flying more than 200 sorties as part of the Berlin Airlift. He was later awarded the OBE for his part in leading a rescue mission on the frozen icecap of Greenland. Good condition. Part of Single Vendor collection.
