19th Century Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Scalloped Bowl - A 19th-century blue and white Chinese export porcelain bowl with a scalloped rim. The vessel is potted from white porcelain with a lobed edge design. It features a wide, shallow form resting on a circular, unglazed foot ring. The interior and exterior are decorated with hand-painted underglaze blue landscapes including bridges, pagodas, and a central weeping willow tree. Faint orange-brown markings are visible on the underside of the base but are not legible. No maker names or marks are discernable. Diameter: Approximately 6.5 to 7 inches.
