A Set of Six Cut Crystal Stemware Glasses and a Decanter - Star of Edinburgh - A set of six cut crystal pieces comprising five stemware glasses and a matching decanter. The decanter features a square body with canted corners and a faceted neck. It is topped with a large, faceted orb stopper featuring a hexagonal honeycomb pattern. The glasses are constructed with tapered bowls set upon multi-knopped stems and star-cut circular feet. The decoration features a starburst or fan-cut motif above a field of fine diamond-cut crosshatching. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are readable on the surfaces of the glass. The design corresponds with the Star of Edinburgh hock pattern.
