Three Mid-20th Century Cloth Bound Railway History Volumes (DJ) - Three hardcover volumes from the series A Regional History of the Railways of Great Britain. The collection comprises octavo-sized books bound in cloth with their original illustrated dust jackets. Volume I and Volume III are first editions published by Phoenix House in 1960 and 1963. Volume II is a third edition published by David & Charles in 1969. Each volume contains frontispieces, photographic plates, text illustrations, and large folding maps. Volume III features a handwritten ink notation W SC-OXh / 20 12 19 on the copyright page. No author signatures or other ownership marks are visible.
