A Group of Carved Wood Decorative Items and a Novelty Coin Box - A group of three decorative objects comprising two wooden pieces and a novelty metal coin box. The collection features a heart-shaped box with a figured burl wood veneer lid and a hand-carved leaf-form tray. The leaf tray is designed with a handled stem, raised relief berries, and several small circular perforations across the surface. The third item is a novelty secret pill or trinket box constructed from two British half pennies. The domed top of the box features the profile of King George VI with the relief inscription GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP. The base and interior are formed from two coins dated 1949, featuring a three-masted sailing ship and the relief inscription HALF PENNY.
