A Trio of Indian Miniature Paintings Featuring Mythological and Courtly Scenes - A trio of Indian miniature paintings executed in traditional pigments on paper. The collection includes three distinct works. Two paintings depict the Hindu deities Radha and Krishna in garden settings; one shows the pair seated in a landscape within an oval border, while the other captures them walking as Krishna plays a flute. The third painting portrays a courtly scene with a nobleman in Mughal-style attire seated on a terrace, attended by a female dancer. Two of the miniatures are housed in gilded wood frames with a silver wash, finished on the reverse with blue and red marbled paper and wire hangers. The third painting is set within a decorative Khatam micro-mosaic frame featuring intricate geometric star patterns composed of wood, bone, and metal, backed with red and gold marbled paper. No artist signatures or maker's marks are visible on the front or the back of the items.
