20th Century Forged Iron Livestock Branding Iron - A vintage livestock or property branding iron forged from heavy iron or steel. The branding face features an oval border enclosing a central horizontal bar. Welded to this bar are three distinct characters: a ”S” on the left, a stylized house or upward-pointing arrow in the center, and a reversed ”C”. The branding head is securely welded to a long, solid rod that terminates in a T-shaped handle, designed for manual operation when heated. The tool displays a heavy, encrusted oxidized patina across all surfaces, consistent with exposure to fire and outdoor ranching environments. The welds at the branding head and handle junctions appear structurally sound.
