A 1995 Ann Pett Studio Pottery Fish Plate - A circular studio pottery plate hand-painted with a marine motif. The plate is crafted from earthenware or stoneware finished in a white tin or zirconium glaze. It features a shallow form with a raised foot ring and an additional secondary concentric ring on the base. The face of the plate is decorated with a large hand-painted John Dory fish in shades of blue. The depiction includes the characteristic deep body and the prominent dark spot on the side, known as St. Peter's mark. The design is framed by a blue banded rim and two sprigs of stylized green seaweed. The base is signed in blue underglaze ”Ann Pett” followed by the date ”1995”. No other marks or labels are visible.
