Decorative Porcelain Vessels - A pair of porcelain decorative items including a Famille Noire style plate and a small bottle-form vase. The plate is constructed from heavy porcelain with a dense black enamel ground. The central well features a polychrome long-tailed phoenix perched on stylized rockwork among flowering peonies and blossoms. The wide rim is decorated with a vibrant green border containing scrolling foliage and floral medallions. The underside of the plate displays an incised four-character square mark in a seal script style, though the thick glaze makes it illegible. A small red circular stamp on the base contains two Japanese katakana characters, ”Tekka.” The accompanying bottle vase is decorated with underglaze blue and gold accents. The body features whimsical scrolling vines and stylized floral motifs outlined in fine gold gilt. The base bears a hand-painted blue mark consisting of the characters ”100” or ”D00” which is somewhat smudged and not clearly legible as a name or signature. Diameter: Approximately 8 to 10 inches (plate) Height: Approximately 5 to 6 inches (vase).
