Scottish Silver Luckenbooth Style Pebble Brooch - A Scottish silver luckenbooth style pebble brooch featuring an openwork heart-shaped frame. 111.7 grams The brooch is constructed from silver with an engraved foliate design across the crown-like upper crest. The frame is set with four inlaid semi-precious stone sections including mottled green and reddish-brown jasper alongside reddish-orange agate pebbles. Four oval faceted citrine stones are mounted in raised bezels, arranged with three across the top crest and one at the lower point. The reverse features a simple C-clasp and a long pin mechanism. A rectangular silver plate has been soldered to the reverse to reinforce the hinge assembly. Width: Approximately 45mm to 50mm.
