A Silver and Agate Brooch and Cuff Bracelet - A silver brooch and a silver cuff bracelet featuring inlaid hardstones and shell. The brooch is designed as a quatrefoil cross with scalloped, engraved borders. It is set with sixteen teardrop and wedge-shaped stone inlays in a radial pattern, featuring orange-red jasper, dark green bloodstone, and banded grey and white agate. The reverse is fitted with a pin and C-clasp assembly. An incised mark is present on the reverse, but the characters are not legible as a name. The cuff bracelet is composed of multiple rounded wire bands in an openwork, abstract modern design. It centers a circular cabochon of polished red and black figured shell or dyed stone, secured in a tension-style setting. The silver displays areas of oxidation and tarnish, particularly on the inner surfaces of the bands.
