Cartier Ribbed 18 carat Gold Plate Cigarette Lighter - A vintage Swiss made pocket lighter featuring a gold plate finish and a distinctive vertical ribbed pattern. The lighter is rectangular in form with a hinged cap and a thumb-roller ignition mechanism. The gold plate exterior is finished with a deep guilloché-style vertical ribbing that covers all four sides. It is accompanied by its original red presentation case and international guarantee documentation. The underside of the lighter bears several incised marks including a cursive script reading ”must de Cartier”, followed by the serial number ”8 6 8 8 6 N” and the block text ”SWISS MADE”. A small square hallmark is present to the left of the fill screw. The accompanying red guarantee booklet features a stamped serial number reading ”LMC10147” and describes the item as ”BRIQUETS CARTIER”. The red case is gold-tooled with a floral border on the lid and is lined with white satin and velvet.
