Reuven 1985 Modernist Charcoal Figure Drawing - A modernist figurative drawing executed in charcoal or conté crayon on paper. The work depicts two stylized seated figures in an intimate embrace, rendered with fluid, heavy outlines and subtle tonal shading to emphasize rounded forms. The figures are composed of bold, curved strokes typical of mid-to-late 20th-century modernist figurative art. The drawing is signed and dated in the lower-left corner in charcoal. The signature reads Reuven above the year 1985. The piece is housed behind glass in a simple, dark-stained wood frame with a slender profile. No other maker marks or labels are visible on the front of the work.
