19th Century Charles Cooper Henderson Fores's Coaching Recollections Plate VI Aquatint - A 19th-century hand-colored aquatint with engraving titled The Night Team, which serves as Plate VI from the Fores's Coaching Recollections series. Measures 105cm wide * 85cm tall The scene depicts a classic British coaching stop at night, featuring a horse-drawn mail coach stationed before thatched-roof outbuildings. Several figures are illustrated, including stable hands attending to the horses and passengers seated atop the coach. The print is rendered in a tonal aquatint technique with engraved line work and traditional hand-coloring. The upper margin is printed with the series title FORES'S COACHING RECOLLECTIONS and the plate number PLATE VI. The lower margin bears the inscriptions PAINTED BY C. C. HENDERSON and ENGRAVED BY H.
