The shaft integrates three primary figures, including a central female figure with prominent breasts and a lower body detailed with a cross-hatched, scale-like pattern suggesting a water spirit motif. Other figures include a male form in a wrapped garment and various stylized heads separated by bands of vertical grooves and cross-hatching. The carving is executed in the round, tapering at both ends to smooth, unadorned points.
